We have been coming back here for many years. Mr. Pohl is the perfect host, has tough service staff and a great kitchen. Always open and flexible, even for special requests. Impossible and super arrogant restaurant manager. We were a group of six gentlemen and were welcomed at the entrance. "You can go straight on there is no beer here" This is not possible at all and has never happened to my friends and me! We have been wine connoisseurs and wine drinkers for many years. This gentleman should nowadays think about whether the catering and customer service is right for him. There are many great and very good restaurants in Winningen, with super friendly service, but this is definitely not one of them!

Here we were very satisfied: cozy-rustic atmosphere, tasty food, excellent wines of the local winemakers and attentive staff. In warm temperatures, you can sit wonderfully in the courtyard. Inside, the guest has various rooms available, each of which looks very inviting due to its winding arrangement. Particularly interesting are the everywhere attached / erected equipment, which was previously required both for work in the vineyard as well as for harvesting and vinification.

Spoke English and had a translated English menu, which was nice. Food and portion size was good and prices were average, IMHO.
